How to Detox Your Mind, Body, and Soul
You’ll hear a lot of talk about cleansing in this day and age. The premise is simple and easy to understand: in the modern world we live in, we ingest a lot of chemicals. Those chemicals accumulate in our body. As our body isn’t designed to take in the modern concoctions of man-made microscopic substances, we suffer from a multitude of ailments. Getting rid of those chemicals will improve memory, health, stamina, and concentration.
The process by which to do this in is not incredibly complicated, but it can be difficult. Just browsing through the information on cleansing can overwhelm a person. At the end of the day, it seems like the best thing to do is just boil everything down to its simplest form.
Here is a straightforward concoction that may be simple, perhaps at times hard, for people to follow to help them with a total cleanse of the body, mind, and soul.
The Lemonade Fast
Add two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, two tablespoons of real maple syrup, Grade B, and a touch of cayenne pepper to eight ounces of water which can be sipped throughout the day whenever you feel hungry.
Take a salt bomb (about a teaspoon of sea salt which you take all at once with water as a chaser) to replace sodium lost throughout the day from your fast. You can drink herbal teas, no additives, to have a little relief from the lemonade throughout the day.
Detoxing Your Body
A total cleanse is a nice jump start to eating healthier. There is a lot of talk about whether or not a cleanse is healthy, but I personally don’t think a short time of cleansing could be anymore dangerous than years of eating fake food. Keep in mind these foods have so many preservatives in them, they don’t decompose, but solidify with age. We are built to be able to endure time without food. As long as you have no major health problems and consult a doctor before a cleanse, you should be fine doing a moderate cleanse of three days. A longer cleanse should not exceed ten days.
There are many fasting recipes out there, and you should know that drinking solely water will do more harm than good, as you need to be able to replace flushed toxins, which water won’t do. One recipe to try is the lemonade fast:
If you are doing a ten day stretch, and feel you won’t be able to hold off without a little bit of food, you can have some raw fruits or veggies to sustain yourself. When you break your fast, start off slow with some fresh squeezed juice, as your body hasn’t had to digest for some time. The next day have raw fruits, adding each day a new item like raw veggies, whole grains, then lean proteins. Don’t overdo it too quickly, or you’ll wind up with indigestion. After this, use this as an opportunity to have your diet be filled with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, and avoid processed and packaged foods. You don’t want to add back in all those toxins you flushed out. Simplify the foods you put on your plate by making sure they are foods that are found naturally and not concocted in a laboratory, and you will begin to feel better.
Cleansing of the Mind
I believe if you’re going to have a “total cleanse”, it should be more than just a way to lose a few pounds. Use this amount of time cleansing to try to cleanse your clutter as well. If you’re house, room, car, or office are full of clutter, take steps to begin cleaning.
First, see where items tend to collect in your house and why. For example, if you read books in your room or in bed a lot, you may find piles of books in your room. You don’t have to jump through hoops to add new habits like putting books away in the living room every single time you read a book, but you could add a bookcase near your bed to place the books. The alteration to your habit, then, would be small – just putting books away in your room. If you feel bogged down by your clutter, clearing it will put your mind at ease.
You can also declutter the information that weighs heavily on your mind. If you get upset by watching the news every night, feel stressed by being dedicated to a TV series or a blog you have an RSS feed to, cut that out of your life for a while if you can. Cut down to your bear essentials, and you may find yourself feeling less stressed every day without feeling the need to constantly check up on the latest items. After some withdrawal from your favorite blog, you might be wondering how you let it eat up your time. Perhaps some stress will melt away, and you can finally clear your mind.
Exfoliating the Soul
While on a total cleanse, you have time on your hands you would have used to think about food: where you’re going to get it, when to prepare it, how much to make, etc. And if you cleanse from forms of stress as suggested, you may find a little more time on your hands that you didn’t realize you had. Without religiously following a YouTube channel or a TV show, you are freed up to do things for your own entertainment. Do you love to write? Dance? Sing? Take photographs? Do something that you love with the time that you have. Humans need to feel that sense of purpose, and we can’t always be satisfied by the work we do for money. A hobby, a passion, or an untapped interest may be waiting for you to fill your time and lift your soul.
While you are at that, work on ridding yourself of toxic energy through the Yuen Method. This is a no-touch healing process that works to get rid of negative energy and energy blocks. It's been known to help people to release phobias, fears, emotional issues, and even pain.

After Your Cleanse
You'll likely want to keep up with your progress after you are done with your cleanse. There are a couple of things you can do in order to ensure that things stick.
For one, this has been about cleansing not just your body, but your mind and soul. Decluttering, rethinking what you want to do with your time, and reorganizing your thought process!
You can keep progress through hypnosis. To change the way you think on your own can be very difficult. Through hypnosis, you are getting those extra messages, both consciously and subconsciously, of how to think about things differently and get things done. This will create a platform for you to continue on with.
Another way to try and hammer in the ideals you are trying to take up is to give yourself daily affirmations while looking at yourself in the eye in the mirror. You are more likely to believe someone telling you something about yourself if they are looking you in the eye - both negative and positive information. Why not be the one to tell yourself something positive on a daily basis? It will give you a self confidence boost and help to keep your determination going.
Create a vision board so that you always see the things in your life that you are trying to accomplish, and probably why you did the cleanse in the first place. Seeing this everyday works on a conscious and subconscious level of what your goals are. It would also be a good idea after viewing your board to write out a list of things to do every day that will take you one step closer to your goal, even if it's a small step.
Cleansing can be difficult, but it doesn't need to be complicated!
